PALMETTO, Fla. — ScriptAbility is now available via Epic App Orchard. The ScriptAbility Application, created by En-Vision America, provides users a way to create accessible prescription labels for anyone that has difficulty reading standard medication labels. The accessible solution encompasses multiple label styles, including ScripTalk Talking Labels, ScriptView Large Print Labels, ScriptView Dual Language/Translated Labels, ScriptView Controlled Substance Safety Labels (CSSLs) and Braille Labels.

Individuals who are blind, low-vision, dyslexic, or non-English speakers, oftentimes have difficulty reading and/or understanding their prescription labels provided by the pharmacy. ScriptAbility gives the pharmacy the freedom to provide medication labels that patients can truly understand.

Now, ScriptAbility interfaces with a customer’s Epic instance to automatically retrieve and populate prescription data, rather than requiring that data be manually keyed in.

“We’re excited to be listed in the App Orchard gallery to make our accessible labeling solution available to even more pharmacies,” says David Raistrick, president of

En-Vision America. “More than 12 million individuals in the U.S. have a visual impairment, according to the CDC. Ensuring medication safety and adherence is at the heart of what we do at En-Vision America.”
